Clinton Electric’s first annual Foremen’s Training was held February 23, 2017. Ten of our foremen spent one day in the office to receive training on various issues related to their many duties as a Foreman. This year’s training highlights included a review of Safety issues by SIBA’s trainer John Holt. Fall protection was an emphasis in his review since falls have been identified by OSHA as the #1 cause of work site accidents for 2016. Substance Abuse Awareness training was also provided by Jeremiah Linson of Alliance Screening & Occupational Health. The day was capped off with a review of Clinton Electric specific tasks that all Foremen are expected to practice. A second foremen’s training day will take place on March 9, 2017.
